We are a manufacturer and supplier of Strontium Barium Inoculant for Foundry. It can effectively reduce chilling tendency, improve graphite morphology and distribution, increase the number of eutectic group, and improve the melting characteristics of cast iron.
This inoculant has a low level of Calcium and Aluminum, which can help to avoid chilling and prevent the formation of carbides in the castings. It is ideal for use with heavy section gray irons.
Strontium is an alkaline earth metal that is very similar to calcium and barium. It is found in strontianite and celestite and can be obtained from mining those minerals or by electrolysis of strontium chloride (SrCl2) solution. Strontium can also be incorporated into hydroxyapatite (HA) to enhance its bioactivity.
Stable strontium is a soluble mineral that moves through the environment relatively easily. It is dispersed by wind and rain and can become concentrated in soils, plants and surface water. It is present in air as dust and can fall back to the ground as a result of coal or oil combustion.
85Sr, a pure beta-ray emitter that is readily assayable by gamma spectrometry and free of 89Sr and 90Y, is often used as a tracer to determine chemical yield in biological and radiotoxicological samples. Resulf 30 IEP Plus is the preferred yield monitor for use in ferro silicon inoculants. It is very effective in reducing chill and carbide formation in corrosion resistant cast irons, steam and water pressure gray irons and improves machinability in ductile irons.
A special 75% ferro silicon inoculant with controlled levels of calcium, barium, strontium and aluminum. IM SR has been shown to be highly effective at reducing chill formation and increasing graphite structure in both gray and ductile irons, especially at reduced addition rates. It can replace high-potency rare earth-based inoculants and is capable of achieving similar results.
IM SR is produced in state-of-the-art submerged arc furnaces, using charcoal and iron ore as the reducing agent and iron unit source respectively, thus limiting the presence of harmful tramp elements to very low levels. This combines with an in depth quality program focusing on problem prevention to produce a product that consistently conforms to specific customer requirements.
This is a highly effective inoculant for Heavy Section S.G.Iron, it can increase nodule count and elongation. It has a strong recession-resistant capability and is particularly useful when inoculating cast iron with higher temperatures. It also resists pulverization and deliquescence very well.
Aluminum is a very lightweight metal known for its workability. It is also highly ductile and malleable. It can be made into a wide variety of shapes and sizes, making it the perfect choice for large castings. Aluminum is also a nonferrous metal, meaning that it doesn’t react with other substances to form rust.
Inoculant for foundry Garinoculant-15 is a 75% Ferro Silicon with controlled amounts of Calcium and Aluminum. This inoculant is ideal for heavy section SG irons. It can help reduce chill and carbide formation. It also provides excellent fading resistance.
Grain morphology is an important characteristic of cast Al alloys. Inoculants can promote the formation of a fully equiaxed grain structure during solidification. Thermal analysis tests show that the master alloy contains potent nucleants for heterogeneous nucleation of a-Al. Moreover, at holding-mixing cycles, a thermodynamic driving force exists to transform matrix Al from AlB12 to AlB2. The transformation is confirmed by backscattered SEM (Fig. 5): dark particles correspond to AlB12 and light gray ones to AlB2.
Zinc is an essential mineral that is involved in many aspects of cellular metabolism, including protein and DNA synthesis, cell signaling and division, wound healing and immune function. It is found in a wide variety of foods and is available as a dietary supplement. Zinc can also be found in over-the-counter medications sold as cold remedies and some denture adhesive creams. Zinc supplements or medications taken in high amounts can cause neurologic symptoms and should be avoided by children.
Ferro Silicon Barium Inoculant is a composite of Iron and Silicon with controlled additions of Barium and Calcium. It is a very effective inoculant for Heavy Section S.G.Iron and is ideal for thick castings where solidification times are long. It has good nodularity and excellent fading resistance.
