Ferro Silicon Barium Alloy Inoculant Fe Si Ba is a kind of deoxidizer with desulfurization and desulphurization ability, which is widely used in metallurgy, mechanical industry, cast iron and steelmaking.

It can effectively reduce supercooling degree of molten iron, promote the precipitation of graphite and significantly reduce the chilling tendency, and also reduce relative hardness and improve cutting performance of gray iron and ductile iron castings. It can also increase the graphitization core, refine and promote A-type graphite in gray cast iron parts, and improve strength.

Ferro silicon Barium inoculant is a massive metallurgical material used as an additive in the casting process to effectively promote graphitization, reduce chill tendency, improve graphite morphology and distribution, increase eutectic cell, and refine characteristics of matrix structure. It is easy to blend into the molten iron and can be added to liquid iron at a low temperature, and it also has a small melting point, which ensures that it can be evenly mixed in and produces little scum.

This inoculant alloy is distinguished by particularly good suppression of the precipitation of carbide, even though it contains relatively low amounts of aluminum and calcium. It can be prepared in a very industrial manner and therefore has favorable costs. According to Volza's export statistics, India is the 3rd largest exporter of this product in the world. Application

FeSiBa is a deoxidizer, desulphurizer and casting inoculant for iron alloy. It can be used in the foundry industry to improve the quality of gray cast iron, nodular cast iron and ductile iron. It can promote graphite nucleation, improve the spheroidization grade of the graphite and reduce the chill tendency of the liquid cast iron.

It can also improve the metallurgical properties of cast iron by increasing the eutectic undercooling, refining the cluster and strengthening the pearlite matrix. It can significantly improve the strength performance and casting performance of gray cast iron.

It can also be used in the steelmaking process as a desulfurizer, reducing the addition amount of carbon powder and shortening the period of steelmaking. It has good molten steel flow, strong recession-resistant capability and high deoxidization ability. It can be used in the in-mould, ladle and flow through processes of ductile iron casting. It is suitable for casting of large thin-walled parts and uneven-walled products.
